The Tradition Watchmaker’s Toolbox is an exclusive watch maintenance kit designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Petitpierre SA. Each of these luxury toolboxes takes two to three months to craft.
Tradition Watchmaker's Toolbox
Excellence and Refinement for Watch Enthusiasts
The Tradition Watchmaker’s Toolbox by Petitpierre is a masterpiece of watchmaking precision and elegance, designed for discerning watch enthusiasts and collectors.
A Siberian monk has ordered a non-leather version to give to his master, the Dalai Lama, in person. And more recently, Sir Jony Ive, ex-vice-president and Apple product designer, ordered one for his personal use and another for a famous friend. This is a great paradox: the man who designed the Apple Watch remains deeply passionate about mechanical timepieces.
Encased in a luxurious Macassar ebony case, this watch maintenance and repair kit contains an extensive collection of 54 high-quality watch repair tools, each meticulously handcrafted in Switzerland.
Building upon the essentials found in the Passion Toolbox—including the Watchmaker’s loupe, Nesting cushion and Needle lever—this exclusive set also features a collection of six Screwdrivers, a Torque screwdriver, a Hole plate, and a Blower for delicate cleaning tasks.
Every tool in the Tradition Toolbox is designed to reflect the artistry and excellence of Swiss watchmaking, ensuring that both professionals and collectors have the precision instruments needed to maintain and restore fine timepieces.
More than just a kit, it is a true tribute to the timeless tradition of horology and its enduring heritage.

The concept behind these exclusive toolboxes was to pay tribute to the ingenuity of legendary watchmakers who, in the absence of ready-made solutions, created their own expert watch repair tools. Petitpierre, a leader in the production of high-end watchmaking equipment and instruments, has curated this extraordinary collection to offer watch aficionados a connection to the artistry and precision of Swiss horology.
All the materials used in this exceptional set are carefully selected for their aesthetic and functional qualities.
The Macassar Ebony tool handles are entirely crafted by a master turner from the Neuchâtel region. A natural beeswax is applied by hand to each one.
The exterior of the box is also in Macassar Ebony, finished with 5 coats of lacquer.
